SCOUTING: There are truly very few football prospects in South Florida who have given as much to the sport - over an extended period of time like this young man has. While many of the current Class of 2019 prospects were playing youth football and going to limited camps, Pearcy had the opportunity to hang out and watch some of the premier rising stars at the quarterbacks position, helping his father take photos to promote the athletes at several Mastrole Passing Academy events.

As Pearcy watched and learned from the prospects who competed in these high level showcases, he knew that if he worked hard, one day, it could be him competing in that invitation only quarterback challenge. That happened - and making the final 7 of this prestigious collection of statewide passers, showcased his abilities.

While he was developing as a quarterback in head coach Kirk Hoza’s offense, Pearcy showed he could run - and as he proved this past weekend at Ava Maria University - his overall athleticism will give colleges an opportunity to play him at several positions on the field - and not just quarterback.

Skylar Pearcy’s dreams of playing college football will come true. His athleticism coupled with his impressive grades in the classroom have continued to open doors.
