PLAYER: Andres Lehrmann

POSITION: DE/OLB

SCHOOL: Doral Academy

CLASS: 2019

HEIGHT: 6-2

WEIGHT: 225

SCOUTING: There is no doubting the fact that south Florida is home to some of the top football prospects in the country, but the sheer number of college prospects is often mind-boggling.

As head coach Jase Stewart has led his Doral Academy Firebirds to their second straight district title, there have been a number of impressive prospects who have impacted this playoff-pound program.

One of those gifted football players is this young man, who has stepped up his game with 17 sacks and has been responsible  for elevating the play for a team that lost a number of players from last year’s program that advanced three rounds deep.

What separates Lehrmann from the rest is his athleticism, motor and ability to make plays. He is quick, agile and certainly very talented, giving this team someone that the defense can depend on and rally around.

Even in the loss to 3A power Chaminade-Madonna, this is someone who never stopped playing and that is something that this team continues to rally around.
