PLAYER: Emile Aime

POSITION: LB

SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale NSU University School

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 5-10

WEIGHT: 195

SCOUTING: Channing Crowder has been around this sport – since he was born in State College, Pa. His knowledge of players and how to fully evaluate and scout this game is something that very few people know and understand.

When he joined the staff this season at NSU University School, his role was to be a mentor, showing that being a father and husband – as well as a teacher to these young athletes – is vital in today’s society. He also has the opportunity to share his knowledge of years as a professional football player – and what it takes to get to the next level – and beyond!

When Crowder brags about something or someone it is rare. His standards for the way an athlete should be – on and off the field - came with a lot of trial and error.

When Crowder speaks about Aime, he has to restrain his emotions. He knows what sophomores in high school are supposed to be like – and this young man is nothing like that.

What Crowder and the Sharks have uncovered is an elite player, who may not fill out the linebacker position from a size standpoint, but his overall athleticism and ability to make plays against anyone reminds many of the way (former Miami Northwestern, UM & NFL standout) Sean Spence was at the high school level.

This is indeed someone who can be the heart and soul of any program – with his quickness and ability to read and react as well as anyone. He makes plays and ignites one of the top programs in south Florida.

While Crowder has been a huge help in being that mentor that a player like this often needs, he is also tough on his budding superstar, letting him know that the game doesn’t stop on the football field, a lesson that he has indeed learned himself.
