PLAYER: Gino Sandora

POSITION: LB/FB

SCHOOL: Davie Western

CLASS: 2019

HEIGHT: 6-0

WEIGHT: 210

SCOUTING: Before he ever arrived at Western High School, here is a talented young man who had already started to turn heads and carve out a future.

For as long as many can remember, this gifted student/athlete was always around the ball. No matter who had it, Sandora was certainly not far behind, making plays and showcasing his outstanding skill level as football talent.

After spending his first three seasons at Archbishop McCarthy, where he led all defensive players in total tackles last season throughout south Florida, he made his move to play for a program that advanced further (three rounds) than any other in school history.

Since head coach Adam Ratkevich and his staff welcomed him to the program, he has never disappointed. Playing on his success from last year, his first three games this season have revealed a bigger, quicker and more knowledgeable player who is on pace to become one of the top tacklers and playmakers again in south Florida.

His success does not stop on the football field. What he has been able to accomplish over the years in classroom has set him up for a bright future. One that will watch him continue to play this game at the next level.
