PLAYER: Amari Johnson

POSITION: WR

SCHOOL: Miami Carol City

CLASS: 2019

HEIGHT: 5-9

WEIGHT: 165

SCOUTING: By now, we all know that the 2016 football program at Hallandale High was not only young, but extremely talented - with 13 of those players currently holding D1 offers - or in line to get one soon - at several different schools across south Florida.

As current Carol City head coach Benedict Hyppolite was the author of that amazing class, he has certainly benefitted from his eye for talent - along with the hard work that goes along with it with his top rated Carol City Chiefs.

Among many of those prospects are impressive football players who compete in other sports. Here is a prime example of being able to combine skills on the field with tremendous speed from a highly successful track background.

What makes Amari so special is not only the quickness and speed, but his overall athletic ability - giving the Chiefs yet another quality weapon as pass-catcher with the ability to make things happen.

On a team filled with elite difference makers, he has already shown that he is ready to step up and make a difference - against any level of competition.

As college coaches continue to watch, this is definitely one of those talented young men who will elevate his play with hard work and plenty of high level competition to compete against.
