PLAYER: Hammersham White, Jr.

POSITION: RB

SCHOOL: Plantation

CLASS: 2019

HEIGHT: 5-8

WEIGHT: 165

SCOUTING: When it comes to running the ball, very few people in south Florida have done it better than Steve Davis. The veteran coach has long been an advocate of taking time off the clock – while getting into the end zone with a solid running game.

At a school that had been known for its balance through the years, Davis has been all about running and playing power football.

This season, he had a number of quality running backs returning from last season – and one prospect who came in from nearby rival South Plantation.

What White gives this already potent ground game is a senior who has experience, runs hard and provides leadership that many of the young players need.

In the race for a district title, the Colonels will need someone like this to continue to help ignite the team down the stretch. Solid back!
