April 28th is draft day in the NFL, and the Miami Dolphins hold the eleventh overall pick. For months, fans have been clamoring for Miami to select a quarterback in round one.

Will Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen be on the board at eleven? Don't count on it. With the New York Jets moving up to number three, it seems each of the top four quarterbacks will be off the board within the top ten.

On Monday, Zach Krantz and guest co-host Omar Kelly discussed the draft on The Joe Rose Show.

While Kelly doesn't believe the Dolphins will be in a position to draft one of the elite QB's with their first round pick, he strongly believes that the team needs to address that position at some point.

"The Dolphins have been engaged to Ryan Tannehill since they gave him that $98 Million contract," said Kelly. "That's your bride. Now the question is, are you happy? Are you comfortable in that relationship? Adam Gase is certainly happy, but do you need a contingency plan? I personally believe that you do. [Tannehill] is thirty years old, he's playing on an injury that has limited him for the past two years. He's one year away from being injured for an entire season, and you don't have a true backup right now."

The Dolphins also have a need at running back. The team could use some depth to pair with Kenyan Drake, who has two years left on his rookie contract. Miami has brought in thirty year old DeMarco Murray for a workout, but Omar Kelly believes they should think younger.

"I'd rather go out there and draft a Mark Walton in the fourth round, as opposed to adding a veteran like DeMarco Murray," said Kelly. "Walton has upside and he can give you special teams value."
