Alabama Crimson Tide beat writer Joe Goodman (Al.com) joined The Hochman and Crowder Show on Tuesday to explain what sort of player the Miami Dolphins are getting in first round draft pick Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick meshed so well with Bama head coach Nick Saban that it earned him an interesting nickname from his teammates:

“His teammates used to call him Little Saban," said Goodman, "because of the way he would act just like Nick. The only person [Saban] would talk to is Minkah, so he could explain it to all of the other players.”

Goodman described the qualities that Fitzpatrick shared with his coach.

“Attention to detail and always being organized in everything he does. All those players looked up to him. He was highly respected by his teammates."

Thankfully, there's at least one difference between Saban in Fitzpatrick. This one is sure to be appreciated by Dolphins fans...

"Minkah is highly personable, unlike Saban.”
