For the first time this season, the outcome of a Miami Heat game was decided by more than 3 points. This one turned into a track meet in the second half, as the Heat blew out the New York Knicks 110-87, Wednesday night from the American Airlines Arena.

Hassan Whiteside provided the fireworks.

Whiteside scored 22 points with 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. He recorded a plus/minus of +30, his highest ever in a Miami Heat uniform.

Chris Bosh watched the game courtside. During the 3rd quarter, the Heat honored him with a video tribute that seemed to fire up both the team and the crowd.

The Heat improved to 2-2 on the young season. They'll return to action this Saturday night, hosting the Portland Trail Blazers. You can listen to the game on our sister station, 790 The Ticket.
