Hurricanes Look To Bounce Back At Boston College

Any chance Miami had at the College Football Playoff likely died in their 16-13 loss at Virginia two weeks ago. Tomorrow, the Hurricanes can keep their ACC ambitions alive when they visit Boston College. A victory can get Miami back on track, while a loss could send the fanbase into crisis.

Revolving quarterbacks

Malik Rosier takes back the starting role as Miami's signal caller this week. The fifth year senior replaced redshirt freshman N'Kosi Perry in the first half against Virginia after Perry threw his second interception. While Perry's leash seemed incredibly short, his benching likely had more to do with the big picture than the six passes he threw in the game.

Head coach Mark Richt told WQAM's Josh Darrow at halftime that he needed to see "some more maturity" at that position.

A video of Perry flashing wads of money recently surfaced on social media. While we can't say for sure if Richt had this in mind when made those comments to Darrow, it certainly paints a picture of Perry's maturity or lack thereof.

Mark Richt addressed the video on Monday, saying, "It's been addressed. ... He didn't break any laws or any NCAA rules. I didn't like it. He knows that."

Game Time

The 5-2 Hurricanes face 5-2 Boston College on Friday. October 26th from Chestnut Hill. Both teams are 2-1 in conference play. Miami might need to run the table through the rest of their ACC schedule if they expect to win a second straight Coastal Division title.

Kickoff is set for 7:00. You can listen to the game on WQAM, with our pregame coverage starting tomorrow at 3:00PM.
