It's the calm before the storm of the NBA's free agent frenzy, while a notable Dolphin got snubbed from a preseason list. Here are your WQAM Headlines for this week.

LeBron James Watch officially begins on June 29th - While free agency doesn't start until July 1st, we'll get a massive clue about King James' future on Friday night. He must decide whether or not to exercise his player option with the Cavaliers by midnight on Friday. If LeBron opts in, it's a huge sign that he will remain in Cleveland for another season. It's no guarantee, though, because he could still be traded this summer after opting in. If he opts out, as expected, the 30 team battle royale for his signature is set to begin. Do the Miami Heat have a chance? The odds are slim at +4000 while the Lakers are the heavy favorite at -155.

Miami MLS team name and colors coming soon - David Beckham business partner Jorge Mas says announcements will be made shortly about the team name, colors and shield for Miami's Major League Soccer club. According to this report by Michelle Kaufman in the Miami Herald, Futbol Club Internacional de Miami (Inter Miami) and Futbol Club Atletico Miami (Atletico Miami) are on the short list, along with Miami Freedom. Miami's yet to be named club will debut in the 2020 MLS season.

The NFL revealed their annual Top 100 list of best players in the league, and only defensive end Cameron Wake made the list for the Miami Dolphins. While Wake is certainly deserving, it's hard to imagine how perennial pro bowl safety Reshad Jones got snubbed. Is Jones' exclusion an oversight or a sign that he doesn't command the sort of respect he's seemingly earned?
