America waited weeks for the resolution to Urban Meyer's administrative leave from Ohio State University.

On Wednesday evening, after a two week investigation, Ohio State ruled that Meyer had "mishandled domestic assault allegations" against former assistant coach Zach Smith and "misrepresented what he knew" about the situation, as reported by ESPN's Dan Murphy.

As a result, OSU is suspended Meyer for the first 3 games of the 2018 season: home against Oregon State and Rutgers and on the road against 16 TCU.

Miami faced the media on Wednesday, but did he miss the mark in his press conference? When asked if he has any message for (alleged domestic violence victim) Courtney Smith, Meyer offered these words: “I have a message for everyone involved,” he said. “I'm sorry we're in this situation.”

Meanwhile, former Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton made his return to Marlins Park on Tuesday. The New York Yankee was given a warm reception by the crowd.

The Marlins beat Stanton's Yankees on both nights of the 2-game set, with Giancarlo hitting a combined 3 for 9 in the series.

In case you missed it, Adidas has created new environmentally friendly alternate uniforms for the Miami Hurricanes, and we'll see them in action on September 2nd, when Miami opens their season against LSU.

Per the University of Miami press release, these are "the first-ever football uniforms featuring repurposed and upcycled materials created in partnership with Parley For The Oceans.

The Hurricanes will wear the uniforms for their season opener against Louisiana State University at the 2018 AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sept. 2.
Creating a unique look for the Canes, the Miami x Parley A1 uniform features "The U's" home jersey orange colorway that is accompanied by accents that are an ode to the cause to end plastic pollution of the oceans. The jersey sleeve caps and the stripes white pants feature a wave print that fuses Miami's signature dark green with the EQT green colorway that adidas x Parley has become synonymous with. Subliminal tonal palm trees on the sides of the jersey pay homage to South Floridian landscapes and the environment that enriches the biodiverse local ecosystem. The literal thread tying the Miami jersey to Parley is continued in a green stitched pattern within the white block numbers."
