Today during the 1st hour:

- Joe and Zach discuss the new NFL tackling rules, and how unfair it is for defenders

- Interview with Charles Davis, NFL Analyst for FOX

On the Dolphins performance so far throughout the preseason, “I don’t read into it a whole heck of a lot, truthfully. The year that the Lions went 0-16, they went 4-0 in preseason. The Browns just went 0-16 last year and went 4-0 in the preseason… A lot of the time, the best work that happens this time of year is when teams do joint practices, not the preseason games.”

- The Dolphins first team offense has scored a touchdown in two preseason games. Should fans be alarmed?

Today during the 2nd hour:

- Can Lane Kiffin and FAU shake up college football again this season?

- Joe talks about how much tackling in the NFL has changed over the years. Listen as he talks about how guys like Ronnie Lott and Kenny Easley would be kicked out of the league if they were playing today.

Hollywood’s Headlines, we go around the best headlines in pop culture with Hollywood.

Today during the 3rd hour:

- School lunches are not the same as they use to be. Can kids even bring peanut butter to school anymore? There’s a reason why peanut butter and jelly go together.

- Interview with Omar Kelly, Sun Sentinel

On Frank Gore not playing so far in preseason, “Frank Gore has been so impatient about playing. I think it’s important to him to play in the 3rdpreseason game. I’ve known Frank forever, and I know it’s been a dream of his to play in front of South Florida. Playing in Miami, in front of his home town fans, finishing his career here – that’s important to him. And Frank doesn’t plan on retiring after this season.”

Today during the 4th hour:

- Interview with Eric Winston, NFL Players Association President

On where the use of marijuana stands among players being allowed to use for medical purpose, “Everyoen know what THC and CBD is, but theres other chemicals in marijuana that people don’t know about. There’s different edibles and strains available to the public that have different effects, and states have different laws about it. I’m pretty anti-opioids. We have to find a way to stop handing guys opioids. Maybe it’s CBD only. There’s an epidemic in our country of people dying from opioids addiction… If guys need to be smoking something so that they can practice without any pain, they shouldn’t be practicing.”
