On reports of him retiring at the end of the season, “I’m a lot more interested in a lot more things now. There was a time in my life were basketball was my life. And now, I’m just beyond that point. That doesn’t mean basketball is not important. I still love to play the game and be around the guys. I’m just more focused on my kids and their development right now, so that’s where my head is. I never said I was retiring. People took what I said about my kids and my other interests and kind of made their own assumptions… I’ll be real direct (when I decide to retire).”

On playing with one team his entire career, "It’s amazing. It doesn’t happen anymore. Once you get towards the end of your career, different opportunities start to present themselves. You look at different things and it becomes more about loyalty instead of money. There was opportunities for me to go other places and get more playing time, and every player wants that, but then you know you look at your legacy and everything you’ve been over your career. It changes it a little bit."
