On this relationship with Adam Gase, “We’re fine. Everything is fine. It’s not personal, it’s not anger. It’s professional, and he’s a professional. He puts up with me, and that’s the way it’s going to be.”

On Reshad Jones situation, “Joe, everyone knew about the rotation. There were charts in the team meeting room, that during the week of practice these charts told the players how it was going to go. Everyone knew about the rotation, there was no late breaking rotation on Sunday. I don’t know what happened in Reshad Jones’ mind that suddenly on Sunday he decided that I’m Reshad-freaking-Jones and I shouldn’t be part of a platoon system, but that’s exactly the way it went. It’s kinda lame that he was saying yesterday that he didn’t take himself out, because that is true. The coaches took him out as part of the rotation. But he certainly was the one that decided I’m not going back in. So that was weird, it’s a bad look for him. It’s a bad look that he wasn’t in the least regretful when he talked to the media yesterday. And that’s on him, he doesn’t have to be regretful publically. But to do that not publically means you’re not sending the message to your fans, because that’s how it is. Look, you quit. And by the way, he said he didn’t quit. Which is like – really man? You’re going to insult our intelligence like that?
