2018 SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Edwin Rhodes Has His Chance

PLAYER: Edwin Rhodes

SCHOOL: Plantation American Heritage

CLASS: 2020

SCOUTING: After waiting for his opportunity over the past two years, this talented junior will get that chance to lead one of the top programs in the country this coming fall.

While he was learning and grasping the offense, he was also developing into one of the promising juniors in south Florida. From a talent standpoint, there is NO question that he is one of those athletes who can make a difference. But he is also inexperienced and has lost several linemen and receivers from last year’s state championship teams.

Because there are no easy games on the Patriots’ roster, this is someone who will have to grab the experience on the fly – and in the end – that may not be such a bad thing.

Rhodes has everything going for – including a 28-game winning streak!
