PLAYER: Jaylan Knighton

SCHOOL: Deerfield Beach

CLASS: 2020

HEIGHT: 5-10

SCOUTING: When you watch him run, some of the best who ever played the position, flash into your mind. He is that good and that dominating.

Before his record setting evening – where he dazzled his way to 347 yards – this University of Oklahoma commitment has been viewed as one of those elite football talents.

In an area that annually produces as much major college talent as anyone in the nation, standing out in south Florida means that you will indeed be one of the best in the nation.

Just a junior, this is an explosive runner who is simply as good as you get. Try to tackle him up high and his leg strength and strength will ensure that you won’t bring him down. Tackle him low and his power will allow him to break initial hits and get into the secondary.

Knighton has been the star attraction for a number of years, and when those who follow high school football talk about him, they compare what he does to some of the elite to carry the ball.

If the Bucks are going to get to the 8A state championship game, this is one of those must players who you have to have on your roster.

For those who have never watched him play before, you will certainly impressed at what he does.
