SCOUTING: There’s a good bet that many football fans in south Florida never heard of Travis Dixon.

While this is an area loaded with amazing football prospects, players like Dixon, NFL stars John Brown and Pierre Garcon are overlooked at the high school level – and that is where being a recruiter and evaluating talent come into play.

As all eyes are on those “4 and 5 stars” that pop up every year, it’s prospects like Dixon, who easily have as much talent as many of those who are getting invited to everything and being recruited by everyone.

Dixon is one of those rare football talents that we have these days. Athletes who may not get the hype, but when all is said and done, players who do it all and come out on top.

This is a three year starter for the Bulldogs, and with new head coach Anthony Collins taking over, you can almost guarantee that Dixon will be a catalyst on both sides of the ball.

Keep your eye on this gifted young man who has been on the radar in the past, but is looking to take it to the next level in 2019.
