SCOUTING: There are some amazing football prospects for this coming season, and while college coaches have more than had their opportunity to see many of them, there are players like this former Boyd Anderson standout that continue to turn heads.

Whether it was at camps or combines – or events such as the T48 Friday Night Lights showcase at Calvary Christian, this is someone who more than looked the part, with plenty of size and athleticism.

Once coaches started to watch this tremendous talent perform this spring, they were sold. Not just the smaller schools, but Power 5 programs who had no clue that this young man existed. They do now.

At Thursday night’s spring intra-squad matchup on campus, Choute served notice that he will be a player to watch – as college coaches looked on and added him to the list of gifted players for this coming year.

What they saw was a talented football player with strength, quickness, athleticism at skill. He showed why he will be a big part of head coach Jevon Glenn’s program.

Coming within one game of advancing to the state playoffs this past season, this team is hoping to get a major contribution from Choute – and a young but effective defense.
