PLAYER: Majon Wright

POSITION: WR

SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons

CLASS: 2020

HEIGHT: 6-3

WEIGHT: 180

SCOUTING: When it comes to bloodlines, there are very few who have what this quality football prospect has.

In addition to being the younger brother of former St. Thomas Aquinas standout Major Wright, who had plenty of success in college (Florida) and in the NFL. His other brother, Daniel, is part of an elite group of players at the University of Alabama from south Florida.

What Majon has is a combination of what made both brothers successful. He is a tremendous receiver, who can also make an impact in the defensive secondary.

His skill level as a receiver is impressive – with his size and ability to make adjustments in mid air.

On defense, he is a ball hawk as he showed in last year’s state title game against North Marion. The same adjustments that he makes as a receiver, he does as a long safety in the secondary.

With so many prospects receiving attention, this is one who truly should be right in that mix – as a game-breaker.
