OFF SEASON HUDDLE – Deerfield’s Phillip O’Brien Is A Difference Maker

PLAYER: Phillip O’Brien

POSITION: S

SCHOOL: Deerfield Beach

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 6-3

WEIGHT: 170

SCOUTING: On a team loaded with quality football talent, here is another who has really made a major impression over the past few months.

His size and skill level have made him one of the underclassmen that every college coach was watching this spring – and all came away very impressed at what he brings to the table.

He is a long and gifted football prospect who has the chance to be special for a team that figures to be right in the mix for an 8A playoff spot.

What college coaches like most about this young man is amazing athletic ability a ball skills. He fits right into a secondary that has plenty of playmakers. They all had a chance to watch everything he did during practice and scrimmages.

There is a lot to like here – and veteran head coach Jevon Glenn and his staff are excited about watching him throughout the summer and the 2019 season.
