OFF SEASON HUDDLE – Trevor Reaves Blooms Late, But Grabs Everyone’s Attention!

PLAYER: Trevor Reaves

SCHOOL: Miami Edison

CLASS: 2020

SCOUTING: When asked about this quality talent at the start of spring, Edison coach Luther Campbell could only shake his head and question those who had not put him on the radar.

“I have been around this game a long time - in easily the best area for talent on earth - and I can count on one hand the athletes with more of an upside than this young man in this current class,” Campbell said. “He is a tremendous talent, but we have a few of those kind of kids out here.”

This Miami Central transfer has done nothing but turn heads, showcase amazing skills and prove that versatile defensive backs with size and athleticism can get their college education paid for.

This is one of those football players who has a gift of knowing how to play this game and back away from nobody, and while many had varying opinions on his play in the past, there is nobody that can tell you anything negative about this impressive prospect who has the chance to play this game for a long time.

Go back and watch his scrimmages, spring game against 7A Miramar and what he has done at camps and 7-on-7 tournaments and there is no getting around the talent this young man has. He is indeed a difference maker.
