OFF SEASON HUDDLE – UM Commit Andy Borregales Is A Game Changer

PLAYER: Andres “Andy” Borregales

SCHOOL: Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 5-10

SCOUTING: From the time he can remember, Andres Borregales wanted to be a kicker.

Growing up in a world where soccer surrounded his life, football was something that always grabbed his attention - and as he heads toward his junior season with the two-time defending 3A state champion Lions - this impressive kicker and punter is as good as you get.

After some intense competition, training and showcases, this quality specialist, who recently committed to attend the University of Miami, stands alone at the top of the national rankings - as a 5-star.

With plenty of family support and a brother (FIU kicker Jose Borregales) to always look up to, this is perhaps as impressive a kicker as we have seen in quite some time - in an area that boasts some very strong and accurate legs.

Whether was Brandon Kornblue’s annual national exposure showcase, the ultra competitive Chris Sailor Kicking and Kohl’s Kicking events - or with his original coach and longtime instructor Oscar Castaneda and the OKC Kicking Camps, Andy continues to combine the best of all worlds, preparing for that next level and beyond.

Having been fortunate to see so many elite level kickers and punters through the years - watching this impressive and promising specialist -  you  get the sense that he is definitely…….the next up!
