Baldinger: 'I don't see Anyone Wanting Out of Miami Now'

The Joe Rose Show with Zach Krantz: Quarantine Day 144

The Miami Dolphins are continuing to improve week by week and they have now won three of their last four to take a 500 record into the bye week.  The improvement is not lost on the national media either.  Brian Baldinger joined The Joe Rose Show on Tuesday morning and had this to offer, ”I was actually texting a GM this morning, when the Dolphins were 0-7 last year it was tank for Tua and they were giving away assets and acquiring assets and players wanted out…I don’t see anyone wanting out right now, they are 6-5 in their last 11 and they are playing winning football…that’s a well-coached team, and so I think the talent is improving.”

The other headline coming from Sunday was Tua finally getting a chance to step out on the field and get some reps.  While it was a very small sample size, Baldy offered this on the Dolphin rookie, “The fans were excited to see him, he went out there and converted the third-down pass, you saw just the rocket he has for an arm…he showed some of his ability there on a couple throws and his movement and arm strength and how he goes through progressions. He’s a good student, he has all of the qualities you want to be your franchise quarterback, just from what type of character he is, his work ethic, and his love of the game, it’s all there and that’s all you can ask for right now.

The Dolphins will get a bye this Sunday before returning in week 8 to host the Rams.
