The Miami Hurricanes will open up their season on September 10th at Hard Rock Stadium when they host UAB.  Hard Rock will be allowing 13,000 fans for both Canes and Dolphin home games.  UM, Athletic Director Blake James joined The Joe Rose Show this morning and said that the Dolphins and Hard Rock took “the right approach” with allowing that amount of fans to attend.  James went on to say, “There’s been five months of just unknown but to get that news a lot of our fans are excited and look forward to those who can be there seeing six exciting home games.”

As far as how fans can go about securing tickets to the upcoming home games James said, “There’s a process in place, there’s a priority system in place we will communicate to the fans, they’ll have an opportunity to take advantage of that next week and after we get through the season ticket process if there’s anything left we will open it up to the general public and hopefully have 13,000 rabid Hurricane fans on September 10th.

All Hurricanes games can be heard right here on WQAM.
