The Miami Hurricanes are set to open up their season on September 10th.  Miami will have a new offense and new pieces on the offensive line that will try and protect their new starting quarterback D’Eriq King.  ESPN ACC reporter David Hale joined the Joe Rose Show this morning to preview the upcoming season.  Hale praised King saying, “You have some wildcard situations, Miami hopefully fixing a lot of the problems that they had last year with an All-American caliber quarterback D’Eriq King coming in.”

Obviously there is a lot of pressure on D’Eriq King this season but there is also going to be a boatload of pressure on Miami’s offensive line as David Hale pointed out.  Hale said “When you talk to folks down there about how camp has been going I think the O-line continues to be a question mark, they are rotating quite a bit.  There are probably the right pieces to the puzzle there in my opinion, it’s a question of whether that puzzle can be put together completely by opening week or whether it’s into October and we see a team that finishes closer to 500 but finishes looking better than they started.  I'm not unenthusiastic about Miami I think they are moving in the right direction it’s just a question of how quickly it can come together.
