The Joe Rose Show with Zach Krantz: Quarantine Day 132

October 02, 2020 - 10:47 am

The Dolphins will look to stay hot when they take on Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.  Dolphin rookie Solomon Kindley joined The Joe Rose Show this morning.  Kindley has gotten the start at right guard and the 4th round pick hasn’t given up the spot.  Kindley said, “I’m blessed for the opportunity, I pride myself on working hard…Nothing is too big and nothing is too small, that’s the motto I keep with me.”

One thing that Kindley credits his success to is having veterans around him, helping him get through what was a unique offseason.  He said, “one thing they taught me about is taking care of your body and watching film, I’m a film junkie now, I’m up late at night looking at film or bam I’m in the training room or the cold tub.”  Kindley credits Jesse Davis and Ted Karras for helping him through the rookie grind.

It wasn’t all football talk though this morning.  Solomon has a very unique sport that he took part in when he was younger.  You will love this funny story from the O-linemen which you can listen to below!
