The Miami Dolphins will try and bounce back from a tough opening week loss when they host the Bills on Sunday.  Ryan Fitzpatrick had a rough game throwing three interceptions which left fans wondering when we will get our first glimpse of Tua.  While most analysts have been bullish on Tua, there have certainly been concerns regarding his injury history and whether or not his hip is ready for full contact.

NFL Network Analyst Marc Ross joined The Joe Rose Show this morning and had some serious concerns about Tua.  Ross said, “You know I had major concerns with Tua, essentially we talked about the injures but it was the injuries coupled with the fact of he’s essentially a small pocket passer and the way he would get hurt in college was he couldn’t get away from people, he’s not extremely nifty or fast I mean he has a little bit of movement in the pocket but he’s not a magical type Russell Wilson type escape guy.  Kyler Murray when you see those guys you are like wow nobody touches them when they play, Tua’s not that same sort of special movement, special athlete so that was a concern where he couldn’t get away from trouble and that’s how he got hurt and being such a small guy so he’s going to have to prove that he can take the hits and be able to perform being so short inside the pocket.”

Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to start Sunday but who knows how long that will last if he can’t correct his struggles.
