The Miami Marlins are stuck in Philly after at least 14 members of their team have tested positive for Coronavirus forcing tonight’s home opener to be canceled.  The Yankees and Phillies game in Philly has also been canceled tonight.

As we have seen with the NBA and MLS, the bubble works.  But MLB decided they didn’t want to go the bubble route and they would risk traveling to ballparks across the country to play a 60-game season.  The league barely made it through their first weekend before canceling multiple games.

Today’s news must have sent shock waves through the NFL offices in New York.  The NFL’s challenges seem, on paper, to be much more difficult than baseball, to begin with.  How is it possible at this point that they can continue to open up camps and start the season on time?

Listen below to hear what Joe, Zach, and Hollywood have to say about what this will mean for the NFL.

Joe is far from as optimistic as he was before this morning’s news and Zach and Hollywood both think the league may need to push their start dates back for now.  This is going to be an interesting week, tune in tomorrow at 6 a.m. to hear all the updates on the Marlins and NFL and we will be joined by Jon Heyman who has broken a lot of the Marlins news at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
