Much has been made over the past few weeks over the possibility of losing preseason games and what that could mean for a young team like the Dolphins.  Now the NFL has offered to forego the preseason to keep players healthy going into this upcoming season.  While it may seem like a disadvantage for the Dolphins to some, one former star sees it differently.  O.J. McDuffie thinks the team has a huge built-in advantage because of their Head Coach Brian Flores.  Flores and his team responded in a major way to close out the 2019 season in what seemed to be a total culture change in Davie.  McDuffie sees it like this, “Coach Flo is the man for the job, the way we finished and how strong we were, give them five more games last year and see how they would have finished, they adapt well and we have an advantage that way.”

Miami finished the season with a huge win in New England.  The Patriots will also be hurt by a shorter off-season because of the departure of Tom Brady so there’s no reason the Dolphins can’t head up there and start the season with a big win!
