A dual quarterback system is something that has been discussed leading up to the highly anticipated 2020 Miami Dolphins season.

While Ryan Fitzpatrick played well to finish the season, the Dolphins will want to find out what they have with Tua Tagovailoa.  Joe has been consistent with what he wants from Tua in his first season, saying that Tua should not start right away and he is not in favor of the dual quarterback system.

Mike Florio, from Pro Football Talk, sees things differently.

“I’m going to be curious to see whether teams use multiple quarterbacks in September, treating it kind of like a quasi preseason even though the games count," said Florio. "The objective though is to figure out who your guy is by October. I feel like the Dolphins need to be thinking about that if Fitz is the better option in Week 1 because we won’t see Tua in any situation other than having a red jersey on.

"Maybe it’s Fitz with Tua playing a little bit getting some live reps and once Flores is confident he can get it done then you flip the switch and he’s your full-time week in and week out starter.”

Camp is around the corner and the season is as well. One thing is for sure, this quarterback battle will be fun to watch in Davie.
